With Zero Block, you can create a page template for Feed posts with a unique design. You can create a custom style for each Feed and make your blog more visually engaging.
Recommendations for making sure the post page template displays correctly after publication:

  • All elements should be grouped with the Object type.
  • Auto Layout should be enabled for groups and set to auto.
  • The Grid Container height of the artboard should be set to auto.
The post page template must be published with the latest changes.
Connecting a post page template to a Feed
Create a new page that you will later assign as the template for Feed posts. The page can be empty — you can return to styling and setting it up later.
Go to the custom Feed settings and open the template tab. Under post page template, select the page you created earlier and save the changes.
The post page template will appear in the page list under the name Template. The Feed it is assigned to will be shown in parentheses next to it. To edit the post page template, click it in the list.
Editing a post page template
Add Zero Block to the new page. The name of the Feed post connected to the template is displayed in the lower-left corner of the page.

Click the post name and select the post you want to use for preview while editing the template. If you click the pencil icon next to it, you will be redirected to the Feed to edit the content of that post.
To open the post page template in the editor, click Block Editor.
In the Zero Block editor, click the plus icon to add a new element. You can add any element from the dropdown menu and connect it to a Feed post field. You can also select post template and add all post fields at once, or display each field individually.
Connecting an element to a post field
Add any element to the page, such as text.
To connect the element to a Feed post field, select the element and click the connect to Feed icon.
Select the required field from the list.
After the element is connected, the content field will appear in the settings panel. It will show the post field the element is connected to.
You can check how fields will be displayed for other posts in this Feed. To do this, switch the post in the lower corner of the editor.
After switching, the template will display the content of the selected post.
You can also add other elements to the post page template that do not need to be connected to post fields, such as a contact form. This element will be displayed on every post page.
Adding all post fields
To quickly display all post fields, click the plus icon and select add all fields from the dropdown menu.
All fields responsible for post content will be added to Zero Block. You can change the order of the field layers, customize their design, and add new fields.
If some fields are not filled in for a post, the corresponding elements will be displayed with empty values. When you switch to another post in the Zero Block editor, the filled-in fields will be displayed automatically.
You can also delete fields from the editor or reassign their value. For example, an element that previously displayed tags can be connected to the system field creation date.
Adding individual post fields
To display a specific field in the Zero Block editor, click the plus icon and select the required field from the dropdown list.
This lets you build your own post page template. All added elements can be styled in the Zero Block editor.
Adding post tiles to a page template
To display post tiles in the page template, click the add new element icon and select Feeds. Then select the required Feed from the dropdown menu.
The post tile layout will appear on the page immediately. Click the tile group to configure how it is displayed.
