Google Analytics connects seamlessly to the website – all you need to do is log in to Google from your Tilda account and allow Google Analytics to access your website. To finish setting up, save changes and republish all pages.
1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account and set up your Google Analytics counter.
2. Go to Tilda. Open Site Settings → Analytics.
Click Connect and allow Google to access your data.
Select your counter from the list. Save it.
Republish all pages after setting up tracking for your website. The website will start collecting stats several hours after you've set up the counter.
Important: If you've added Google Tag Manager and enabled Google Analytics page tracking in it, do not add the counter in the Site Settings as data will be counted twice.
Google Analytics isn't working. What to do?
Check if the counter settings are saved and all pages are published. You can check a counter code in the page source code or using browser extensions such as Wappalyzer.
If the statistics provided by Tilda differ from the Google Analytics data, it should be noted that each system has different data counting algorithms and the data may insignificantly vary. Also, website statistics can be blocked by third-party extensions for some users; or the page may not be fully loaded on the user's side — it affects the statistics results too.
