Alias Block And Specific Features Of Its Use
How to simplify editing of the same blocks on the website
Alias block is a duplicate of the original block. It is useful when you need to include a block with the same content on different pages.
How to add the alias block?
To add the alias block to a page, use the T213 block. You can find this block in the Library or in the Other category.

In the block content, you need to specify the ID of the original block to be displayed on the published page.
Copy the block ID in the block settings, at the very bottom, or via the dropdown menu in the block.
On the new page, click on the Content button in the T213 block and specify the original block ID in the corresponding field. Alias will be displayed after you have saved it.
If you add an alias block to the page with the original block, the alias block will not work. The alias block should always be placed on another page.
How to work with the alias block?
Alias block is not the same as block duplication. When duplicating, you create a new block with its unique ID and copied styles that can be edited.
Alias block works using the same logic as Header and Footer pages in the project. They are linked to all pages, but to do any changes, you need to change the Header and Footer pages directly.
Alias block duplicates the original block and cannot be edited. To change the alias block, you need to switch to the page where the original block is placed and change it. All other alias blocks will be updated automatically.
You cannot use more than one alias block with the same ID on one page. The first alias block on the page will work only.
Do not use the alias block for the shopping cart. You can place the shopping cart in the header or footer so that it can be available on all pages of your website.
