How To Close Your Account

Despite the fact that Tilda does not store your personal data and card details, as well as allows you to delete your website forever and switch to the Free Plan, in some cases you may want to close your account completely. Here is how you can do this.

To delete your account on Tilda, you need to:

1. Delete all websites from the account. You can do this in Site Settings → Actions.
2. If you have active domains in your account, transfer them to your domain registrar's account. You can do this in the Domains tab on the https://tilda.cc/domains/ page.
3. If you have never purchased a paid plan, go to the https://tilda.cc/identity/deleteaccount/ page and fill in the fields following the prompts. In the first field, type "DELETE," and in the second field — your password.
4. If you have purchased a paid plan before, please contact the Support either at https://tilda.cc/tickets/ or email us at team@tilda.cc.

Important: When requesting to close the account, it is not deleted at once but is blocked and deleted within a month. So if you want to close your account and create a new one with the same email, first change the email in the previous account.
